I came across this list of things you should make sure you do to keep your office space kid safe. It was put together by the Home Safety Council. I can't say it has anything earth shattering, but it is a good set of reminders. I personally went through it and need to make a couple changes to my office layout. Vonage, we have a problem...
There is nothing worse than having your cell drop your calls during an important conversation. Imagine if you got to the office and had no phone service all day. Well, guess what happened today... Vonage is out for a bunch of their customers including myself. Not for a couple minutes or a couple hours, but for most the day. Luckily, I still have email, IM and my mobile phone ;) But still what a nuisance today not having my office phone. I guess I need to consider high availability or a backup contingency plan for the home office. How ultra-geeky would that be?

The Office Setup
It might be helpful to share what I currently use for my office setup and where I got the items. Just an FYI, I’m neither a frugal guy or a high roller, but I do like to get quality stuff for a good deal. I’m always following the hot deals forums at FatWallet.com and Anandtech.com
