Brownback declares bid...

Republican Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas launched his Republican nomination and White House run yesterday. He is the Senator that introduced the Parents' Tax Relief Act of 2005 which encouraged telecommuting, adjusted Social Security credits for stay-at-home parents, and streamlined the home office deduction among other things. He definitely will have a tough road going against the likes of Romney, Giuliani and McCain but I'll leave that up to the political blogs and pundits to comment. I wonder if the topic of telecommuting will come up much during speeches and debates. I bet not directly but perhaps during discussions on energy and such. It be cool if the next President really pushed hard for telecommuting and was a pro-Telepeep :)
