Another Telepeep's Point of View

I didn't read this article until today when I saw it referenced from another site. It's written by Joel Durham, a writer at ExtremeTech, who is a fellow telecommuter. There isn't anything controversial in it, Joel just makes a lot of good points that I agree with regarding the advantages of telecommuting. I really don't understand those Managers who make their own policy of "No Telecommuting". They are probably micro-managers that shouldn't be in a managerial position any way. I've personally been fortunate to have bosses that has supported my remote, virtual office. I could not imagine going back into a cube farm any time soon.

I must say there are a couple subtle differences between Joel and me - I do leave the house quite a bit, my office is upstairs so I'm neither a basement dweller or mole man, and I definitely don't work in my underwear ;)
